I read in these two links: here and here that it's possible to do this using Samba, but I am a little bit lost and need more information on how to proceed. You can copy files to and from it, move them around, and even delete them if you want.I would like to share a folder from a Linux Guest with a Windows host (with read and write access if possible) in VirtualBox. Now that your shared folder is mounted, you can access it just like any other folder in Ubuntu. You should see your shared folder listed under “Windows Network.” Click on it to mount it, and then enter your username and password when prompted. In your Ubuntu virtual machine, open the file manager and click on the “Network” icon in the sidebar. For this example, we’ll call it “ubuntu-shared.”
